Yebo Zululand Initiatives

Yebo Zululand Initiatives is a German non profit association. The purpose of the association is the promotion of own initiatives of residents, self-help movements and institutions, partnerships and projects in KwaZulu/Natal, South Africa, to improve their living conditions.

The association’s work in Germany is characterized by the following main areas:

  • Contacts to foundations: The association receives large donations from foundations, for which applications and reports are written.
  • Fundraising: Donors receive regular information about our activities in South Africa. A loyal donor community has been created through good contact with the donors.
  • Sale of products from South Africa: The products are marketed in own events and through shops.

International Rural Development Service

The International Rural Development Service is a development aid organization of the Catholic Rural People’s Movement of Germany with the aim of developing rural living spaces in structurally weak regions.

With financial support from the Yebo Zululand Initiatives Association and funding from the German Ministry for Cooperation, the International Rural Development Service financed the agricultural and sewing projects and established the development office in Eshowe.

Zero2Five

Zero2Five is a non profit organization from South Africa. Their mission is to improve nutrition, health and educational outcomes for children under five in marginalised communities of Kwa-Zulu Natal and the Eastern Cape by utilising an integrated, community-centred and sustainable systems approach through Early Childhood Development Centres.

Zero2Five supports our kindergarden with food.
