Dumbe is a small town situated in the North of KwaZulu Natal. Three classes were conducted by Yebozululand Community Development Center which resulted in the participants opening a number of sewing groups in the area. The local councilor in Bilanyoni was impressed with the impact the organization had in the community of Bilanyoni and issued them a skills center to work in. Yebozululand is currently issuing advanced training in the skills center which will increase clothing they’ll be supplying. Chameleon issued donations in a form of a sewing machine, pattern maker and an Italian Pattern Making Book. Chameleon’s donation was the first equipment the center received after it was established. These donations motivated them to persist.
Dumbe community were always keen on learning sewing which motivated Yebozululand Community Development Center to issue a number of sewing classes in the area. We believe that issuing support could result in them opening and running successful fashion businesses.
